The Basic Education and Policy Support (BEPS) Activity closed on August 3, 2006. Since its inception on February 3, 2000, BEPS has rendered over 150 different technical assistance activities across 33 task orders in 40 countries representing all USAID-defined geographic regions. Demand for BEPS service and support was constant through its conclusion. The original $35 million ceiling was raised to $65 million in 2003, and the life of BEPS was extended from 5 years to 6.5 years. Creative Associates and its partners are proud of all that has been accomplished to support USAID through this contract.
